VEGGIE BOXES
VEGGIES BOXES are flowin and growin!!! This weeks’ box includes….CARROTS,GOLDEN BEETS,RED BEETS,PURPLE RADISH,RAINBOW CHARD,ESCAROLE,FRISEE, 4 DIFFERENT HEAD LETTUCES,HUGE BAG OF SPINACH,CHERVIL,CILANTRO,AND PARSLEY!.and TWO BASKETS STRAWBERRIES!!!!.While back at the ranch.. the summer squash plants have been flowering…finally! We need to keep up our sun salutations and make the sun shine abit more! The basil is shin high and next week the pearl onions will have there first pick for the VEGGIE boxes. I would like to add at this time that Annabelle at CHOC FARM has goat cheese available. If you are interested in purchasing some of her fabulous Chevre..the cost is as follows; One large heart shaped chevre is 6$.Or one large plus 3 small hearts is 12 dollars. Annabelle makes herb coated rounds as well….we are working on a photo of her fine furry goat friends!! River rye is also available for purchase as well…Claires sourdough all organic german rye is my favorite!!! Toasted with Chevre and some of our tomatoes…yummmmmm. Each loaf is 8 dollars or a half for 4 dollars….!
Our new east side delivery is at 745 Pine Street on thursday afternoons…and Corralitos on Mondays and thursdays. Our hope is to connect with the westside and create a drop off site for thursdays as well!
